I registered only the outline/prologue/concept of few writing ideas that are actually behind the design and structure of this blog.
as you can see, the front page of my blog is a cloud.
because I think that now we are beyond indexes, table of contents, and other structured items- including traditional libraries.
like in the quantum theory: knowledge is changed just by being observed.
and the faster the interactions, the more frequently we see results (please, do not flame me with a treatise on quantum mechanics 
).
what will you find here?
some past, present, and future items.
to be precise:
- past: The Method (outline)
- walking on the shoulder of giants, the biography of my method to navigate through knowledge
- present: What-if stories (concept and format outline)
- picking up on few unrelated or related news items, and devise a credible but not-so-believable story linking them
- future: Memories from “The Cloud” (prologue)
- you see Google and Wikipedia and Amazon and the computing cloud. I see the potential for the next step in human evolution
These were projects that I had (as you can read in each document) already worked on for a long time, but while my consulting activities had some benefits from these concepts, interfered with their publication.
The last 12 months have been spent looking to do a normal activity, where you need to focus on one activity for one company, spend most of your time in the same location, work almost everyday with the same people: almost all the opposite of what I did since 1986.
I did short attempts in 1990 (for a French company, to develop new activities on methodology), 1992 (for a French/Dutch company, as a controller), 1999 (for a German Swiss partner, to develop business intelligence and datawarehousing activities) to get back on a “normal” track, but in each case the net result was only loss of time (and the last time also money) .
I enjoyed and still enjoy (but pro bono, hèlas) the variety in my job- I am a compulsive pragmatic problem-solver and (business/marketing) strategist, and I get energy from people I motivate to do more than they expected from themselves 
Therefore, as I announced over the last week-end online and offline, “koyaanisqatsi”- it is time to change (the English would say- “call it a day”).
Each market has its rules. But when you keep getting (unsolicited) daily offers as junior programmer or requests to alter your cv to cover something that you do not know, well, the message received is loud and clear (yes, as a kid I tried also to be a CB- 5/5, we said)
I look forward to add more material in the future- I recently started looking almost daily to the front page half a dozen newspapers in few languages, just to get a feeling on how different media and cultures approach the same news item.
